Claude for business - You keep hearing about Claude.
Here is what it does for a business like yours.

Claude is the AI that runs our businesses, and the one we are certified on by Anthropic, the company that makes it. We deploy it inside established owner-led businesses across Scotland: your team gets a colleague that never tires of admin, your operation gets systems that run without you, and you never have to become technical.

Why us - Certified by the people who make Claude. Proven on our own businesses.

Anyone can put “AI expert” on a website. Certification is different: Anthropic, the company that makes Claude, examines people on how Claude actually works and how it should be deployed. Ross Gordon holds their credentials, and every badge below links to Credly, where you can verify it in one click.

The certifications are Anthropic’s. The work is ours: the systems we deploy for clients are the same ones running our own businesses every day, from a will-writing company to oil and gas compliance. We sell what we live on.

What gets deployed - Two versions of Claude, doing two different jobs.

Claude is not one thing you install. In a small business it earns its keep in two forms, and a good deployment usually uses both.

  • Claude Cowork: for your team. The version your people use directly, and nobody needs to be technical. It reads your documents, drafts the letters, quotes and reports, answers questions from your own files, and carries multi-step admin jobs from start to finish. Think of it as a capable new hire who has read everything in the filing cabinet.
  • Claude Code: for the systems underneath. The version that builds and runs things: automations that file and chase and log, pipelines that turn documents into data, integrations between the tools you already use. Your team never touches it. It is the engineering room, and it is what our own operation runs on around the clock.
  • Set up for your business, not in general. The value is not the software licence. It is Claude connected to your documents, your tools and your ways of working, with guardrails on what it can touch and a person accountable for what it produces.

How it works - Observe, then pilot, then ongoing. Each step earns the next.

You do not commit to a transformation. You let us understand the real work, then decide from evidence. The only price we publish is the AI Operations Day at £750 per day. Pilots, builds and multi-site engagements are scoped to the work and priced in writing before anything starts.

  • 1. The AI Operations Day: £750 per day. Ross spends one working day inside the business, observing the work and speaking with the people carrying it. Within five working days you receive a written Opportunity Map: what is hurting, what should stay human, three to seven ranked opportunities and the best one or two pilot jobs. The full fee is credited against a qualifying pilot or build agreed within 60 days. If there is not a credible pilot worth testing, the Opportunity Map will say so. How the Operations Day works.
  • 2. The pilot: 30 or 60 days, one or two real jobs. We take one or two jobs from the Opportunity Map, the ones eating the most of your week, and deploy Claude on them for real: Cowork with your team, Code on the systems underneath, human checkpoints on anything that matters. Your time in it: a kickoff session, about half an hour a week, and approvals. At the end you have working systems doing real jobs, a team that knows how to use them, and a written verdict on what to scale and what to stop. Priced to scope, agreed in writing before work starts.
  • 3. Ongoing: managed, not handed over. The systems that earn their place get monitored, refined and extended as your business changes. The first version of anything is never the last, and we stay for that reason.

One boundary worth stating

The pilot is not a trial of our Fractional FDE service. They are separate offers with separate commercials: the pilot deploys Claude on specific jobs, the FDE embeds an engineer in your whole operation. If a pilot shows you need the deeper engagement, we will say so, and you decide.

The honest bit - What Claude will not do for you.

The fastest way to waste money on AI is to believe everything it is sold as. Here is where the line sits, in our experience of running businesses on it.

  • It will not replace your judgment. Claude drafts, sorts, chases and answers. It does not decide what your business should do, price your work, or handle the conversation that needs a human. Every deployment we build keeps a person accountable for what goes out the door.
  • It will not fix a broken process. Automating chaos gets you faster chaos. Part of every engagement is deciding what should not be automated, and the Opportunity Map says so in plain terms.
  • It will not run itself. AI systems drift as your business changes. The deployments that keep paying for themselves are the ones that are monitored and maintained, which is why our engagements end in management, not handover.
Where it goes from here

The deepest thing we build with Claude reads your whole business.

For businesses that sell online and spend on ads, the ceiling is much higher than drafting and admin: every marketing and revenue source pulled into one place, and Claude answering questions about what actually made money.

Questions owners ask us about Claude.

Plain answers, including the ones that cost us sales.

What actually is Claude?

Claude is an AI assistant made by Anthropic, one of the leading AI companies in the world. It reads and writes like a very capable colleague: documents, emails, spreadsheets, plans. For a small business the practical point is that it can carry real work, drafting, answering, sorting and chasing, when it is set up properly around your documents and tools. Setting it up properly is the service.

What is the difference between Claude Cowork and Claude Code?

Claude Cowork is the version your team uses directly: it works through everyday jobs like drafting documents, answering questions from your files and carrying multi-step admin, with no technical skill needed. Claude Code is the engineering version we use to build and run the systems underneath: automations, integrations and document pipelines. A good deployment usually uses both, and your team only ever needs to touch Cowork.

Do we need to be technical? Do we need an IT department?

No and no. You need to know how your business runs, and that is it. We do the technical work, your team gets tools that speak plain English, and the training to use them is part of the pilot. If a system needs you to become technical to keep it alive, we built it wrong.

Is our business data safe with Claude?

Handled properly, yes. We deploy Claude on paid business terms, set it up so your data stays your data, and put what it can and cannot touch in writing before anything runs. We also publish our own AI policy and follow it. The honest rule: the risk is rarely the AI, it is sloppy setup, and setup is exactly what you are paying us for. Our guide on AI and business data covers this in plain language.

What does it cost?

The only price we publish is the first paid step: the AI Operations Day at £750 per day. It covers the day on site, a written Opportunity Map within five working days and a playback call. Pilots, builds and multi-site engagements are scoped to the work and priced in writing before anything starts, because a two-job pilot for a five-person firm and a two-job pilot for a twenty-person firm are not the same work. If you proceed with a qualifying pilot or build within 60 days, the full fee comes off the cost. No retainers, no lock-in before the pilot has proven itself.

How is this different from your Fractional FDE service?

They are separate offers. Claude for business starts small: a day inside the business, then a pilot on one or two specific jobs, then ongoing management of what works. The Fractional FDE is our top-of-ladder engagement: an engineer embedded in your operation, mapping and building across the whole business. The pilot is not a trial of the FDE and its commercials are separate. Plenty of businesses only ever need the first.

Start with a free enquiry

Not a discovery call. Not a pitch with a calendar link. Five questions about how your business actually runs, and it costs nothing. Ross reads every enquiry himself and replies within one working day with a straight first answer: what looks worth automating, and what doesn’t.

If it looks like we can genuinely help, the next step is the AI Operations Day: one working day inside the business, followed by a written Opportunity Map. It shows what is hurting, what should stay human, and the best one or two jobs to prove first. That part comes later, and only if it makes sense for you.
