Services · Audit-Readiness Gap Report - Find every gap before the auditor does.
Send us your quality documents. We check them against every clause of your standard. You get a report showing exactly where you stand, with each finding cited to your own evidence, and a person signs off on all of it. One fixed scope. About a week. Nothing to install.
What you get - A clause-by-clause verdict, with the evidence attached.
Send us your quality documents. We check them against every clause of your standard, ISO 9001, API Q1, API Q2, or a scheme like it, and hand you a report you can act on the same day you read it.

- The clause-by-clause map. Every requirement of your standard, checked against your actual documents. Covered, partly covered, or a gap. No vague summary. A specific verdict on each clause.
- A citation on every finding. For anything marked covered, you see the exact document, section and page that proves it. Nothing is asserted without evidence you can check yourself.
- Draft wording for the gaps. Where a clause is not met, you get draft language and a description of the record or procedure that would close it. A starting point, not a lecture.
- A human sign-off. Ross reviews the report before it reaches you, from the operations side of this industry. The machine reads. A person owns the answer.
The process - Four steps, about a week.
No software to install, no long onboarding. You send documents at one end and a report comes out the other.
- 1. You send your standard and your documents. ISO 9001, API Q1, API Q2, or a scheme like it, and the quality documents you already have.
- 2. The system maps them, clause by clause. It reads everything and checks it against the standard, citing your evidence as it goes.
- 3. A second pass and a human review. We do not issue anything the evidence does not support. Thin evidence is flagged, not waved through.
- 4. Your report arrives. Usually within a week. You read exactly where you stand and what to fix first.
The accuracy rule - It under-claims on purpose.
The report is only useful if you can trust it in front of an auditor. So it is built to err toward caution, every time.
- Cite, or abstain. The system is not permitted to mark a clause covered unless it can quote verified evidence from your document. If it cannot, it says so.
- A false gap is cheap. A false pass is not. A false gap costs you five minutes to check. A false “you are covered” is the one mistake we refuse to risk, because it is the one that fails you at audit.
The questions we get asked most often.
How much does an audit-readiness gap analysis cost?
We deliver a fixed-scope audit-readiness gap report that checks your quality documents clause by clause against your standard, with every finding cited and reviewed by a person. It is a one-off deliverable with no software to adopt and no long contract. We scope it to your standard and document set on enquiry.
How long does a compliance gap analysis take?
The gap report is typically delivered within about a week of receiving your quality documents, covering standards such as ISO 9001, API Q1 and API Q2.
What happens after the report?
You decide. Many firms fix the gaps themselves from the draft wording we provide. Some move to a compliance desk retainer where we keep the documents current between audits and prepare each internal-audit pack. There is no obligation to continue.
Questions we get asked about the gap report.
If yours is not here, the free enquiry answers the rest. Ross reads every one personally.
Which standards can you report against?
ISO 9001, API Spec Q1, API Spec Q2, and comparable quality management standards. The report maps your documents against every clause of the one you are held to.
What documents do you need from me?
Your quality manual and the procedures, records and plans that sit under it. The more complete the set you send, the more complete the report. If you are missing things, that is useful to know too: gaps in the document set are gaps an auditor would find.
Is this a certification?
No. Only your registrar certifies you. This report gets you ready for the audit and shows you where the gaps are first. It is an internal readiness tool, not a certificate.
What does it cost?
It is a fixed scope, priced on enquiry against your standard and the size of your document set. We give you an honest number before any work starts, and there is no obligation once you have the report.
Start with a free enquiry
Not a discovery call. Not a pitch with a calendar link. Five questions about how your business actually runs, and it costs nothing. Ross reads every enquiry himself and replies within one working day with a straight first answer: what looks worth automating, and what doesn’t.
If it looks like we can genuinely help, the next step is the AI Operations Day: one working day inside the business, followed by a written Opportunity Map. It shows what is hurting, what should stay human, and the best one or two jobs to prove first. That part comes later, and only if it makes sense for you.
Free to ask. No obligation. Ross replies personally within one working day.
