Legal - Cookie Policy
What cookies this website uses, what they do, and how you can control them, in line with the UK Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR) and UK GDPR.

1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies, such as local storage and pixels, do comparable jobs. This policy covers all of them, and we use the word cookies for the lot.
2. The cookies we use
This site aims to run with as few cookies as possible. We use:
- Strictly necessary cookies. Used only to make the site work and to remember your cookie preferences. These do not require consent.
- Analytics cookies (with your consent). We use Google Analytics 4 (cookies with names beginning _ga) and Microsoft Clarity (cookies with names beginning _clck and _clsk) to understand how the site is used: which pages are visited, roughly where visitors come from, and where the site can be improved. These are set only if you accept them.
We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not sell data collected through cookies.
3. How to control cookies
- Through the consent banner. You can decline analytics cookies when you first visit, and the site works exactly the same without them.
- Through your browser. Every major browser lets you block or delete cookies for any site. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may affect basic functionality.
- Through the providers. Google offers an opt-out browser add-on for Google Analytics, and both Google and Microsoft publish details of their cookie behaviour and retention.
4. Third parties
Analytics providers process usage data on our behalf as described in the Privacy Policy. Where their processing involves transfers outside the UK, the safeguards described there apply.
5. Changes to this policy
If the cookies used on this site change, this page and the consent banner will be updated to match, and the date at the top revised. Questions: hello@assistiq.co.uk.
