Services · Compliance and Audit-Readiness - Your audit is coming. Your evidence is in forty different places.

Every quality standard you hold, ISO 9001, API Q1, API Q2, or a scheme like it, expects you to prove conformance clause by clause. Most firms rebuild that proof by hand, in a panic, in the weeks before the auditor arrives. We built a system that reads your documents and checks them against the standard, clause by clause, and tells you exactly where the gaps are. Before the auditor does.

The problem - Audit prep is a reactive scramble, and everyone knows it.

The quality manual is a living thing. Service quality plans, risk assessments, management of change, competency records, corrective actions. They drift the moment they are written.

Then the audit date lands. Someone spends three weeks cross-referencing a folder against a standard nobody has read cover to cover since certification. Things get missed. The auditor finds them. It is slow, it is stressful, and it is the most expensive person in the building doing it. You are not short on quality. You are short on the time to prove it.

What changes - The standard, checked against your documents, clause by clause.

We take your existing quality documents. The system reads all of them and maps them against every clause of your standard, so you see exactly where you stand before the auditor does.

  • A verdict on every clause. For each requirement of your standard, one plain verdict: covered, partly covered, or a gap. No vague summary. A specific answer for every clause, ISO 9001, API Q1, API Q2, or a scheme like it.
  • A citation behind every finding. Every verdict points at the exact document, section and page that backs it up. Where there is a gap, you get draft wording to close it. Nothing is asserted without evidence you can check yourself.
  • Done in days, the same way every time. You never learn any software. You never hand your quality function to a machine. You get the scramble done in days instead of weeks, and a person checks the whole report before it reaches you.

The part that matters most - It cannot tell you you’re covered when you’re not.

A tool that confidently says you are fine, and is wrong, will fail you in front of an auditor once, and you will never trust it again. So the system is built the other way round.

  • Cite, or abstain. It is not allowed to mark a clause covered unless it can quote the exact evidence from your own document, and that quote checks out against the source. Thin evidence gets flagged, not waved through.
  • Built to under-claim. A false gap is cheap to check. A false “you are covered” is the one mistake we refuse to risk, because it is the one that fails you at audit. The system errs toward caution, always.
  • A person owns the answer. A second pass reviews the report, then Ross signs it off personally, from twenty years on the operations side of this industry. The machine does the reading. The accountability sits with a person.

Who it’s for - If you hold a quality standard, or a tender says you need one.

Built for quality, HSE and operations managers, and the owners who wear those hats themselves, at firms that live under a real quality standard. If you are running the standard on spreadsheets and memory, this is for you.

  • ISO 9001 businesses. You maintain a certificate and dread the surveillance visit. The surveillance-cycle scramble is exactly what this removes.
  • API Q2 service companies. Oil and gas service supply organisations: well intervention, coiled tubing, wireline, pumping, inspection. The living-document obligations are heaviest here.
  • API Q1 and similar. Manufacturers of oil and gas equipment, and firms held to comparable quality specifications, face the same clause-by-clause evidence burden.
  • Chasing a first certificate. A client or a tender now demands a standard you do not yet hold. We show you the distance between where you are and where you need to be.

The offer - Start with one report.

You do not have to buy the whole thing. The entry point is a single report. If it earns its keep, the ongoing version keeps you ready between audits.

  • The audit-readiness gap report. You send us your quality documents. Within a week or so, you get a clause-by-clause report against your standard: every gap found, every finding cited to your own evidence, draft wording to close the gaps, and a human sign-off. One fixed scope, one clear deliverable, no software on your side. How the gap report works.
  • The compliance desk. The ongoing version. We keep the documents current between audits, draft your corrective actions and change records as they happen, prepare your internal-audit pack each cycle, and help answer the quality sections of tenders and pre-qualification questionnaires. Scoped to your standard and your business.
Plain answers

The questions we get asked most often.

Can AI help with ISO 9001 or API Q2 audit preparation?

Yes. We use an AI-assisted system that reads your existing quality documents and checks them clause by clause against the relevant standard, such as ISO 9001, API Spec Q1 or API Spec Q2. It returns an audit-readiness report where every finding is cited to a source document and reviewed by a person before delivery.

What is an audit-readiness gap analysis?

It compares your current quality management documentation against every requirement of your standard and identifies where evidence is missing or weak, before a certification audit. We deliver this as a fixed-scope report for firms holding or seeking ISO 9001, API Q1, API Q2 and similar quality standards.

Is it safe to use AI on compliance documents?

It depends on how the system is built. Our approach never marks a requirement as met without quoting verified evidence from the source document, and every report is checked by a person before it is issued. Client documents are handled under a written AI use policy, not passed to consumer AI tools.

Questions we get asked about compliance and audit-readiness.

If yours is not here, the free enquiry answers the rest. Ross reads every one personally.

Do you certify my business?

No. Only your registrar certifies you, and we would never pretend otherwise. This service gets you ready for the audit and cuts the panic out of it. Where a standard needs a human judgement call, a person makes it, not the machine. The system flags it; it does not fake it.

Which standards do you cover?

ISO 9001, API Spec Q1, API Spec Q2, and comparable quality management standards. The mechanism is the same whatever the standard: we map your documents against every clause of the one you are held to. If you are not sure the standard you work to is a fit, tell us on the enquiry and we will say straight.

Do you replace my quality manager?

No. We hand your quality manager their time back and a clearer picture than they had before. The report is a tool for the person who owns quality in your business, not a replacement for them.

What does it cost?

The gap report is a fixed scope, priced on enquiry against your standard and the size of your document set. The ongoing compliance desk is a monthly retainer scoped to your business. We give you an honest number before any work starts.

How do you handle our documents?

Under a written AI use policy. Your documents are not passed to consumer AI tools, and nothing about your business is used to train other models. We explain exactly how your data is handled before you send anything.

Start with a free enquiry

Not a discovery call. Not a pitch with a calendar link. Five questions about how your business actually runs, and it costs nothing. Ross reads every enquiry himself and replies within one working day with a straight first answer: what looks worth automating, and what doesn’t.

If it looks like we can genuinely help, the next step is the AI Operations Day: one working day inside the business, followed by a written Opportunity Map. It shows what is hurting, what should stay human, and the best one or two jobs to prove first. That part comes later, and only if it makes sense for you.
